I Am Not Afraid
With a serial killer on the other side of the door, 14-year-old Kelsey is forced to confront her fear of the dark and fight for survival.
This short came about as a scene for an actor demo reel for my acting client, Natalie May (the star of this project). While I originally intended to do a typical 1 minute clip, I knew her potential and talent deserved to be expanded.
I wrote this scene at her request to portray a vulnerable yet strong heroine who isn't afraid to show the bad guy she's a force to be reckoned with. This is the end result, which I wrote, produced, directed and edited!
